Charles is a PhD student at the University of Ottawa under the supervision of Thierry Giordano. For more about that, you can check out his page there.
Charles' goal is to eventually be a full-time professor at the university level. He really enjoys teaching and hopes to improve enough at it to be able to realize that goal.
As for research, Charles is interested in the theory of aperiodic tilings and their invariants.
